RAILWAY TICKETS AVAILABLE EVEN ON DATE OF TRAVEL :

The advisory and health procedures had really made people avoid travel in crowded trains , Buses . Railways had taken several steps to win the confidence of the traveling public.

As surface Cleaning is on the way in Railway stations also . Some decisions like the to do away with the screens in the A/C Compartment, Advising the traveler to bring their own Blanket and so on and other bed linnen to be given in sealed packings. . The staff has been given clear instructions to to undertake regular cleaning od Hand rails door handles and Rails.

These are welcome Instructions . SHOULD IT NOT BE A REGULAR PRACTICE EVEN AFTER THE COVID -19 IS CONTROLLED AND PUSHED OUT OF INDIA LIKE SMALL POX, POLIO etc. more

In fact truly speaking Indian Peoples are dirty. I have experienced in all form of transport. I traveled widely all over India & europe, Asia . by flight, rail etc. In India I saw the peoples travelled in AC compartment are most sophisticated uneducated peoples ???? They Do not want to leave their seat , berth to put the tea waste cups, packing of eatables , food plates to put in dust bin kept near to toilet. They thought that railway cleaners are appointed for the same. how many times the cleaners will clean the floors ? So even if you cleaned hourly basis also there will be no effect. instead of this keep the coach as it is dirty & ask them to travel If they wish ,because it is the gift of the peoples to peoples. If Not, keep heavy penalty Min. rs. 1000 / on passengers whose berth / seat find dirty . The Coach atrentendts should be sufficiently empowered. Make this clause in reservation slip , take acceptance from passenger(s). Rly. will earn lot of money through fine. No court , stay & Prosecutions. more
Hopefully various measures initiated and advisory issued by the government and its various agencies, if sincerely adhered to and complied with by us, will go a long way in combating wild spread of the lethal disease in the country. more
You should encourage automatic help counter by typing PNR number or train number to get date time platform number or wait list or confirmation details. more
Prevention is better than cure. But every journey can not be avoided. Railway may see severe rush after the corona threat is minimised. Special trains may be required. more
hope this practice still continues after this is over .I am not so sure. more
