Railway Toilet

Vacuum toilet has many advantages over regular water toilet. more

Apart from educating general public, there is a great need to enabling the line agency. Because they are appointed for the same. This has to be done in a new stile by creating some measurement yard stick for all the municipality commissioners’ performance. If the head of the institutes made liable then everything will fall in its place. Apart from this all other ideas to be implemented like commissioner meeting all the colony presidents and taking their inputs because this will address local challenges and it will speed up entire process. If the heads are made accountable then as a leaders they will guide rest of the public. If commissioners fall short of skill of going to public and unable to motivate their junior staff then what ever public would do it will not be sustainable. The link between commissioner and local leaders like colony presidents and school principals to established and if this is effectively handled by the municipality commissioner majority of the issues are resolved permanently. One of the measurement yard stick for the commissioner’s performance should be seen by his / her ability to motivate staff and local public through local leaders. By doing this regularly, a systemic change will take place. Please note revolution is not possible in India however systemic change is easy and effective. more
Yes the vacuum toilet in all the trains is welcome this will prevent water wastage as it is in most of thetrains the water in thetoilet do not work or water shortage and the foul smell even in 3AC trains is worst no one to take care this should be implemented immediately by the railways since most of the top level officials do not travel by trains they donot realise the difficulty facedby common man like us more
All railway officials responsible for improving the condition of railway toilet systems should be taken to task for not having bringing the changes since in 1947. All retired should be denied there pension for their non performance but having availed all the perks. more
This is a very good suggestion more
