Railways doing exceptionally good . Online booking is appreciable but Tatkal booking is somewhat nuisance. Very difficult for common man to get it booking through Tatkal in spite of many efforts by Govt . Must do something about it. Tatkal charges have gone higher & people rue about that. Premium Tatkal is not appreciable development . It must discontinue at the earliest . more

I fully agree with Mr Suresh Bharadwaj (Steel Plant Executive), this is what exactly happened last week, when we got a open ticket from pune to kopargaon,, sitting and waitng for TTE to come and allot me a seat , suddenly 2 TTE's came to the compartment and asked 100 per ticket I paid for 2 , then he went through the chart and wrote the number and asked me to go and sit, iwas hoping to get the official receipt, only to get down at kopargaon without God receipt, MONEY gone into those two pockets. more

The expensive premium tatakal, should at least gurantee the seat preferred, for a aged person above 65 years it will be very difficult to climb upper berth and very difficult if he gets middle berth, there must be a choice left to him to choose,after all he is paying what railways ask for, if the choice is not available a message should be give about the possible difficulties. more

The move of Premium Tatkal is innovative and good. At least the additional premium money instead of being pocketed by the Ticket Checkers it is going to the Railway Organisation. Brings some sense of discipline and probity. That apart it serves to cater to the last minute/ urgent passengers who otherwise were solely at the mercy of the corrupt TC. more
