Railways Emergency Assistance

Earlier in the week a friend’s wife and baby were travelling in a train in MP Chhatisgarh area alone when some drunk men and their stooges boarded. They became abusive soon after.

After lots of harassment and complaints the most tte did was change their seat but they continued to feel the threat from these men. All calls to helpline social media went waste.

Can something be done so there is a number for women help where the call is immediately transferred to the GRP on board. And mandate that there is atleast 2 GRP on board in each train who have a SLA to reach a grieving passenger within 10 minutes. more

A short video be made in such cases to lodge complaint with GRP or Railway Minister. The name of TTE should be noted down and mentioned in the complaint. more  
All of us must write such things directly to the email ID of the minister and senior division officers. more  
Display a helpline number in each coach and the person responsible to take action. more
