While myself and my family travelling by train No: 12822-Puri Howrah in D5 seat no ; 13,14,15,16 on 6th Dec-15 some of the people entered in the same reserved compartment and harass us because they could not found any seat vacant .We talked to TT but he was helpless saying that they are regular passengers using this train for attending their job. So , I want to ask railway adm. what is the solution and why we should face such type of problem in a regular way as a reserved tickets holder.

The most ridiculous situations arises when there is Railway Recruitment Board Exam or any PSC exam on Sundays. The night trains get packed by unreserved and WT passengers. The situation gets so worse that even you cannot attend the natures calls. In this situation the TTE arrives for checking the ticket of the reserved passenger and don't even bother to asks the unreserved passenger about their existence in the coach. Person travelling with family have to stay awake the whole night due to the shouting of those unreserved passenger. Worst case happens if you are travelling with a baby. I faced the problem on 17th Oct 2015 while travelling from Rudrapur to Asansol. That was a horrible journey. Not a single railway staff or RPF takes care of the situation. Now i ask that is it a good choice to have Bullet train, 1. Where 60% of Indian Reserved passenger cannot think of travelling properly even if he is having a reserved ticket. 2. Govt increases 0.5% tax for cleaning purpose (Swach Bharat), when it is recruiting 1000s of people every year for this purpose. That means this people are not capable of executing their duties. more

I TRAVELED ON 12810 AND 17057 ON 10 TH DEC AND 11 DEC , THE CONDITION OF THREE TIER SLEEPER WAS SUCH THAT EVEN THE COACH CONDUCTOR COULD NOT MOVE, PEOPLE SLEEPING ALL OVER THE FLOOR AND OTHER SITTING ON THE RESERVED SEATS WHILE THE BONAFIDE PASSENGERS WERE UNABLE TO SLEEP ON THE BERTHS RESERVED BY THEM THREE TO FOUR MONTHS IN ADVANCE , AND THE CONDUCTOR COULD NOT HELP EVEN AFTER REQUESTING HIM TO GET THE COACH VACATED THE UNATHORISED PERSONS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN RESERVED COMPARTMENTS , DOES IT MEAN THE CONDUCTOR DID NOT KNOW THE RULES OR ALLOWED THE PASSENGERS WITH SOME CONSIDERATION , MAY BE TAKING SOME MONEY FOR ALLOWING THEM more

This problem is very common I am not sure why nobody is worried about this and taking action.. Actually everyone faces this problem...but why ministry of railways is not starting a thread to get other members of this viewpoint and tackle this problem more

All Indian Railway assets should be put on block, except tracks and signalling, look at non utilisation of Mumbai Central Station's real estate, sheer waste of prime location, millions of tons of steel scarp (old rail), is littered all over India. In fact all shares of all PUCs company including Banks should sold in open market, all the proceeding from sale of GOI assets have to used in clearing external as well as internal debt of the country. By that way we saving Billions of INR on interest payment total debt, which is being piled up by misruled by our third class politicians. In fact I believe that we are not fit for democracy in present form. more

It is happening in many day time express trains. One occasion, When I tried to board the reserved coach, one group of unreserved passengers locked the entrance door and they refused to open the door. They are advising reserved passengers to use another entry point. Such things are to be controlled by TTE/Railway administration. more
