RAMESWARAM SACRED PLACE

A Humble request to all devotees visiting Rameswaram. Kindly do not throw your belongings into the sea after taking dip/doing rituals at the Agni Theertam (Seashore). The shore bed is fully dumped with used clothes. Every other person visiting the temple wish to see a clean environment and thereafter do the same mistake by throwing the waste into the sea. Kindly use the bins located at the shore for these reason. Similarly into the temple after taking showers at 22 theertams , temple administration had provided separate change over rooms for men and women separately. On could find that both the rooms are dumped with the used cloths. Although the municipal administration and the temple authorities do their best to keep the environment clean without our cooperation nothing can be done effectively. By this message I request all devotees to help to keep this sacred place to be clean and safe. more

anybody visited palani temple, srirangam temple, samaiyapuram mariyaman temple, many temples in north side river side temples and chidambaram temple there how beggers are there, either the central, state, temple autority is not bothered and the public also not ready to keep the temple premises neat and clean more
Dear sir, Congratulation to mr Tamil selvam on bringing this to the notice of citizens. This has become the habit in all pilgrims places . Except places like tirupati where the boards take care rest of the places you find discarded clothes , shoes , flowers ,garlands in water bodies like rivers lakes Pushkarinis. Indescriminate defecation in the open ,urination and menace of stray animals like pigs, dogs, cattle is the duty of local temple authorities A law must be made that the temple boards ,panchayats ,municipalities must protect the rivers lakes and pushkarinis and 24\7 teams of cleaners must ensure clearance other wise fine them from central environmental agency . Irrespective of religious fervor let sane citizens bring pressure to force a law to allow punish temple managements, panchayats ,municipalities as a part of swatch Bharat .jaihind. more
