Her mother, a house maid left her in the care of a cousin so she could go to work. On her return she found her 8 month Baby in critical condition having been brutally assaulted and raped by her 28 year old cousin.
This ghastly act cannot and should NOT be forgotten. This was a BABY. Someone, who was absolutely defenceless and still is. She cannot fight this battle and hence it is on us as a society to ensure justice is served. Given the current laws, there is a strong chance that the perpetrator of this heinous crime will be given a few years in prison and then go scot free. Such offenders who violate our children cannot be allowed to re-enter society ever again.
We demand that for cases of child rape, the current POCSO law be immediately modified to award death penalty or life in prison without possibility of parole.
We need stricter laws to deter such criminals. Pleade Sign this petition now and get every person you know to do the same. If we don’t stand up now to drive change and justice it wouldn’t be long before another such heinous crime is committed and the fault will be ours.... more

For this kind of inhuman conduct, there shall be no less abpunishment than hanging or death sentence. Such people do not deserve to be on this Mother Earth. more

I am of the opinion that since capital punishment is in rarest of rare cases ,in this case if sufficient proof is obtained ,chemical castration be performed on the accused. more

There should not be any judicial hearings. Once the rape is proved and rapist is identified by DNA testing of semen or other body fluids, death sentence should be automatic. No hearings, No appeals. more

We have not seen one death penalty after changes in law after Nirbhaya. This case and many more deserves the harshest possible punishment. Anything less than death penalty will be travesty of justice. more
