In general the speed of Super fast trains should increase and facilities in the Station should improve. more  
Clenness of toilets is not ok also maintenance of accessories..water FLOW e.g. I travelled by Swarn Shatbdhi 12003 from NDl to Julunder on 4 th Aug ...C 10 ..shortage of cleaner Toilets are plate no 1 only it is not way to come and reliveve. So people use toilets on standing trains Overshed do not cover all train plus at far ends No sitting place ..Kanpur ..Delhi etch Food wastage ..in short period of 5 hrs serve so much ether people leave half food half eat ..same food Only 10 % really hungry eat Stations escalators need to monitor closely found sudden close Ndl on 7 aug more  
Railways are most unfriendly to senior citizens and old aged. Even your website irctc.co.in is a nightmare to handle. You open it and you get flash BOOK YOUR TICKET. Search for BOOKED HISTORY and that link is unavailable. And you talk about revolutionising railway. railways and trains - timing of trains at stations - really improving almost to reach by the minute!! cleanliness - also pretty ok except that contracted companies need to be monitored round the clock and tenders floated every 3 yrs might be a good idea train digital touch - quite alright stations safety - ouch.....OUCH....VERY SCARY, PEOPLE SIMPLY WALK THRU THE RADAR AND IT KEEPS CONTINUOUSLY BEEPING, A NICE MUSIC THAT'S ALL...............ZERO SAFETY REALLY!! REALLY REALLY ZERO SAFETY FOR PASSENGERS!! CAN THERE BE MANY ENTRANCES TO ENTER THE STATIONS SO THAT INSTEAD OF PASSING THRU' ONE GATE THERE ARE 10 GATES AT THE ENTRANCE ITSELF AND SO THE TOTAL PASSENGER TRAFFIC GETS DIVIDED INTO TEN LINES!! AND PATROLLING AT THE ENTRANCES REQUIRED STATIONS AT TIER II AND TIER III CAN BE MAINTAINED FAR BETTER! AND STATION MASTERS AND STAFF SALARIES REVISED??! THESE ARE THE SIMPLE GOOD SOULS DOING THEIR JOBS 100% AND LOVING IT! CARGO TRAFFIC AT STATIONS - AGAIN ZERO SCANNING REALLY!! CARGO CANNOT JUST PASS WITHOUT SCANNING.....INDIA HAS LOADS OF PEOPLE READY TO DO WHATEVER.....WHY CAN'T MORE JOBS BE CREATED FOR SCANNING AND SCREENING CARGO ETC. EXTERNAL TRACK LINES - WELL BETTER MAINTENANCE REQUIRED I GUESS TO MINIMIZE TRAIN ACCIDENTS ESPECIALLY OF TRACK SWITCHING AND GROUND SIGNALS BUT GIVEN THE VOLUME OF PEOPLE, THE DENSITY, THE RAILWAYS IS DOING A GOOD JOB I GUESS BUT MORE THAN CLEANLINESS AND DIGITAL EFFICIENCY OR OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCY, THE HIGHEST SIGNIFICANCE TO BE GIVEN FOR S.A.F.E.T.Y. - IT WILL GET MORE AND MORE IMPORTANT IN THE NEXT 5YRS OR DECADE...... 1940'S SECURITY IS IN PLACE BTW BUT PL WAKE UP AND SEE THAT THE "GOODNESS" IN PEOPLE IS NOT LIKE THEN.! TERRORISTS AND VICTIMS OF CRIMINAL MINDS IS PROBABLY INCREASED 20 FOLD OVER THE LAST 7 DECADES BTW! more  
The main concern is late running of trains; wasting enormous time of passengers. Is railway going to pay for the time lost ? Is railway minister listening ? more
