Ratings and Reviews to be regulated

I am thrilled to read that the Government has formed guidelines for ratings and reviews and our circle surveys have played a major role in it.

This is how it should be. Let us celebrate this milestone and list all other surveys that must be escalated on priority to Government.

Manipulated views and news should be dealt with sternly. more
Good. There are Verification companies that businesses contract with to verify reviews. When a customer buys a product or service from a business, that business requests the customer to provide a review. The link it sends to the customer for review is on the Verification company's platform. The verification company verifies the customer is real by checking a documentation such as receipt. Thus the customer is verified as real, and the review authentic. The customer also has a part in making the review meaningful to other potential customers. When our buying experience is smooth, we give the topmost rating and write glowing reviews. Our review should not be misinterpreted that the product/service is robust, high quality, and long-lasting because we have not experienced any of that yet. The rating is for the buying experience. There may be exception to this, for example food, where we can immediately have a good experience. I never provide the top rating unless I experience that the business went above and beyond. Sometimes, after experiencing a product for sometime, I try to update my rating. Best luck. more
