RBI middlemen for exchanging 2000 notes
Brazen middlemen, operating right outside the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) office in the National Capital, are making a killing from ‘customers’ seeking to exchange the Rs 2000 notes, charging as much as Rs 400 per bill. The deadline to exchange the withdrawn notes at bank branches ended on October 7, but the facility is still available at RBI offices, which have drawn long queues of people who couldn’t deposit or exchange their notes earlier.
This only indicates that corrupt RBI officials are facilitating these middle men instead of common people. Will the RBI Governor take note and act?

Black money is coming to RBI. Not easy to catch all middlemen as they know the modus operandi.

Govt should extend the same to all banks by extending the dates .Since if it is being done in rbi then what prevents rbi to extend.Do they want to discomfort all the people to travel and spend their precious time to stand infront of the rbi as if it is a ration shop

Why lacs of people failed to deposit 2k notes in 4 months. Clearly black/dirty money is being channeled thru middlemen.
