Just think why the Government which has been in power for 5 years brings up this Law when elections are due? If Option-A doesn't work, switch to Option-B. I condemn the people who could be seen in the video wrecking Government properties as I am commuting to my work daily in DTC and from what statistics tells us, the damages to buses would result in 30K passengers can't be accomodated in existing infrastructure of buses available. So who suffers? Common man. These miscreants on the roads are not common people fighting a cause, they are criminals let loose to wreak havoc in the society. Remember the movie: Narasimha - goons are nurtured, created and used by people in power. For these mercenaries, money, immunity and protection would be made available and the unfortunate citizens and innocent people would be picked up to be sacrificed. I have seen educated people from well-off families indulging in looting during communal riots in Ahmedabad in 2001. So evidently greed, destructive mindset and evil ways are what draws people to politics it seems. more

The Government is doing its best to rectify the long lasting problems of our country, which were identified but no effort made to solve them over more than 70 years. Now that someone with guts is trying to solve these problems, those opposing these efforts cannot tolerate the success. In fact in my opinion, there is no need to arrest people who take part in such activities in destroying public and Private property, but they should simply by SHOT. No waste of time in arrests, court cases and life imprisonment, which anyway the tax-payer has to pay for. more
