Receipts Printing Paper
Most of the receipts we receive from petrol pump to small or big shops are all printed on thermal paper
the ink on these papers tend to disappear in few months, sometimes even within a week.
If a consumer looses the receipt and esp the ones with fraudulent charges, they really don't have much to prove their case.
Can we take up the subject of merchants printing receipts on paper where ink doesn't go away that easily.

Its true. At present we make a copy of important receipts and preserve until warranty period or need. Some companies like Croma email the receipts to email ID of customer. But in outlets like petrol bunks it may not be feasible. Needs to be changed. more

I fully agree with you. I bought a wooden comb from a prestigious shop and after fifteen days the comb came apart in my hand. When I searched for the receipt it was illegible! However, the company Vega was good and replaced the same but I could not prove that I had brought the same from the shop! Therefore every bill needs to be printed in black ink! more
