Recently I traveled to Kolkata by Sealdah Rahdhani. I am aghast by the quality , quantity of food. Food was absolutely unedible and if you ask anything extra it is not given. In fact I was not allowed to register a complaint also.Cockroaches move about freely at night all over you. But worst is I was told by the pantry incharge that piles of complints were made against them but no one can do any thing to them since they ensure all concerned in the ERly hierarchy is paid by them.So I am just wasting my time and theirs. SO MUCH FOR OUR PM'S SWATCH BHARAT. EVEN THE DAYS OF BRITISH RAJ MUST HAVE BEEN BETTER. HIGH INCREASE IN FARES AND SUCH BLATANT MIS USE OF MY TICKET COST more

I would suggest that a complaint be sent preferably by speed post. A copy of the signed copy in a scanned document can be mailed followed by couple of reminders and then ask status and few associated questions through RTI application. more

The state of actual affairs is correct. This malady is total and all talk of administrative action is a farce. Even online complaints are not attended properly by even the secretaries and either they don't reply at all or stay silent for long periods and throw all complaints into recycling bin and cooly inform that the complaint is disposed off. They never interact with complainants or follow up . This also shows the level of ministerial apathy for common man and their common complaints. more
