Reference Mr. SK Virmani's comments on DHBVN Electricity meters in our area Sector 21/C, they have replaced the old meters with new digital meters for reasons best known to them. However the new meters are running at pretty fast speed more than two to three times the n ormal reading one used to get during the earlier months and when old meters were there. I have lodged a complaint online but the first instance they said the matter has been closed.However I again re-lodged a complaint on line and await their response. I feel one need to take this matter collectively with their apartments residents in total or the RWA of areas like sector 37 etc... Any help or suggestions in this regard is welcome. more

Dear Mr. Seshdri Ji, The subscriber has a right to get the meter tested and the company has to test the meter within 7 days. In case you want meter to be tested by an independent test laboratory, the same can also be done against a nominal fee. more

Yesterday I have recd my bill & similar to everybody's observation in Ashoka Enclave similarly new meters have high speed while cross verification needs to be done . also for your kind info that in same building old meters running are having very low consumption readings. more

The matter should be taken up in earnest collectively with the assistance of the RWA. The cost of electricity has already been revised upward thrice in the last 11 months. Kind regards, K Goodwin 9971359873 more
