REFUND OF FEES SEND TO FOREIGN ORGANISATION
My son joined an entrepreneur development program in the name leangap to be organised at Sanfransisco USA. I paid fees of 4580$ to them. Unfortunately visa is rejected. We informed them they are not responding my mails/messages. What I can do in the matter? Please guide me. 98142-76755 more

It would better to search on Google (US), is there any authority (Trade Organisation or any Federal authority) to whom you can approach for redressal of your grievances, for this first you have to carefully read the documents sent to you by the organisation for such offer. more

First see the conditions whether there is provision for refund on non participation, if it is non refundable as per terms you don't have any chance. But as suggested you can contact the concerned consulate more

I do not think , Indian Court will have any jurisdiction on a company in USA. I suggest, you get in touch with the U S Consulate in India to seek help. Better if you also approach thru' Indian Embassy in USA. Guidance can be sought from the External affairs Ministry in New Delhi. Just try your luck to Tweet Sushma Swaraj, if any help possible. more

Why you did not ask for advice BEFORE giving the Dollars? Strange, how you could part with such a large amount of money............Anyway, now the only recourse left for you is to immediately file a case in the District Consumer Forum and claim cost and compensation. more
