REFUND OF SOCIETY MAINTENANCE CHARGES.
Dear Sir/Madam, I seek your guidance regarding following issue.
I sold my Flat in Pune in July-2016. I had paid in advance the yearly Maintenance of Rs.30000-00 in MAY-2016( for April-2015 to March-2017).
After sale took place. I have been requesting for refund of my money on pro-rata basis since then, but not getting any reply.
Mean while the society management has received another 30000-00 from the new owner.
Kindly advise me is there any legal way for it? more

If after procedure adopted as per advice of Sri Gopalswamy Bhaskar you do not get refund of money go to Consumer Forum. more

I would suggest if not already done 1) write a letter to the Chairman/Secretary ( seek acknowledgement. If within 30 days no response 2) send letter to Dy Registrar (in appropriate jurisdiction where your Society is located also enclose letter sent to Society. He will respond. Else escalate to District Dy Registrar. It will be necessary to check whether the AGM of the Society has barred refund . more
