Reg- Transfer of PF (Old one to New Account)
I have given request for transfer of PF claim from Old One to New company PF Account. But the claim approved by present employer on 17 Sep 2016.
By checking the status till date the new company PF is not showing in my account.
Please let me know the reason for the same. more

Hi, As per your above query your earlier company only approved your request. Better ask present company to do so in the online by using digital signature so that you may get the credit of the amount transfered from ex employer. You can also seen the same in your PF passbook. G kumar more

@Solomon - PF Transfer does not need a UAN, it's needed only for PF tracking & passbook printing. PF Transfer happens purely with the Old & New Member IDs. more

hi abdul, firstly request to current employer to link the new PF account to your UAN ( i hope, you have UAN and old PF account already linked with it by your old employer), almost, 3 months later only, we can see the new PF account addition in UAN by new employee. please check with new employer if its not reflected. this is absolutely new employer responsibility to do addition. 2) secondly while doing online transfer, tool ask us for two ways for approval a) current employer b) old employer. the transfer will get happened in short period if its approved by old employer unless it will take some time and its big process as of i know. 3) i suggest you to check with old employer for any request they got behalf of your old PF account transfer. 4) check with both employers, if any case to re-apply the online transfer with approval of old employer as it works very quickly as per my experience. thanks harish more

No surprise to me. EPF department and its employees are GREAT. They never believe in extending the service they are assigned with. Hope that you would not lose your funds as I made a loss by transferring the account in the past. I never got my full funds together with the due interest. My last employer was helpless despite of my personal interaction at all levels. EPF department was created by the Government for some purpose but unfortunately its functioning never appeared to me in the right direction. more
