Regarding EPS membership transfer
Hi, I applied for EPS membership transfer from HCL to CSC. But RO, Gurgaon saying they are not finding my EPS number in their record so they can not transfer the EPS membership from HCL to CSC. As per HCL Technologies, HCL salary slip and Annexure-K of PF transfer, I mentioned the right pension number but why they are not having that EPS number in their record? If any one knows how to resolve this issue? Please reply back to this query. It will be really a great help.Thanks more

Is HCL having a separate PF Trust? if so please check with HCL what is provident fund account and pension fund account. If HCL is having a PF Trust, PF contributions are with the trust and pension fund contributions (EPS-95) are with EPFO. Organisations which have PF trust maintain separate a/c nos for PF and EPS. If it so, mentioning same account No. of PF generally result in returning the claim with the remarks that the "account is not found in EPFO" records. What I advise you is first be clear whether HCL is a having trust, then ask for correct EPS account No. If HCL does not have a separate PF Trust, then once again take up the matter with HCL and find out the correct EPS A/c No. This will definitely resolve your problem. Similar is the case with one of my co-worker. The EPS-1995 a/c number he had was wrong. He then wrote an Application under RTI-2005 ACT to the concerned RPFC, EPFO and obtained the correct EPS account number, and then applied for the transfer of EPS-1995 records. Note that in case of EPS, only service record is transferred. more

I believe there will be only PF number it is common to both EPF and EPS. I have pf transferred to new account and never saw separate number of EPS. So please make sure there is separate EPS number then proceed. more
