Regarding SBI home loan.....

R/s
My self and my son jointly purchased a Flatt .for which my son has applied for a home loan to SBI .
His loan gets sanctioned. But my problem is that SBI has taken a cheque of amount 11000/- from me for processing fees.
And when they released the loan amount they have cut out the same amount (11000/-) for the Same purpose I e for processing fees.
This transactions are reflected in net bank statement. And am also having the proff of the cheque which I had paid to lthem.
Now please give me the suggestion how to get my amount back which I paid twice for the same cause.please guide me.

Approach the loan sanctioning for refunding the money. If they do not reply satisfactorily. Ask them to provide copy of rules under RTI ( Right To Information ) Act. Which will clear the position. With best wishes, more
Please write to the nodal officer to get the reversals done with interest more
You should write to State Bank of India by Registered Ack Due letter stating that two payments were made one from you sons account and other from your, whereas these fees were not applicable loans sanctioned / disbursed by 31/3/2018. If that is not the case then the Bank shall be governed by their new rules. more
As a Ex banker you says it is a simple issue. But First, why it is happening. After all indias leading lorgest bank, doesn't have any checking method to found excess collection. How the system allows collecting processing charges twice? more
Surprised by the various comments made in this regard on such a simple issue. One should approach the bank concerned and get the refund. As a ex banker I feel this a very small issue and can be dealt with at the branch level. more
Approach the Ombudsman. more
My own experience with SBI bank is, they are callous and not customer-friendly. It carries on banking as it is fully supported by Govt. as a Scheduled Bank......There are many other Banks where it is more transparent and customer-friendly!!! more
