my father in 1992 has register his will with authorities at Delhi with two witnesses in which my mother was first nominee and as per "will" i am after the death of my mother the second nominee with nothing to sister, as per will after my father my mother got everything and after mother expired i was told to probate the "will" , here the Judge told us to bring the witnesses, both are dead. i have three sisters, elder is expired in 1992 with no kid, second is leaving at US and youngest is at Australia.
Please advice the further action as i am not getting desirable response from my legal adviser . more

Normally, our education is not legal oriented to differentiate the meaning of Nominee n Legatee. This is where the Lawyers R taking advantage of the situation. The Trust of the family upbringing and the Sisters can regularise the system. God Bless more

The Criminal & Civil Cases does not bar your sisters to make gift to you. Pl. ref. earlier advise so also the relevant Provisions of the Act so to clear the Doubt. more

I don't understand why the mother is declared 'nominee" and after her Shri Iqbal Singh is the second nominee. It should have been legatee, not nominee. A nominee only has the responsibility and right to receive the amounts from the estate of the deceased father/husband and hand it over to the legal heirs, which according to the Succession Act would be his mother, himself and his sisters/their legal heirs. They may also certify the Will as Genuine for ease of settling. It is a learning experience as there are Relations whose sole work is destroy Peace in the Family.
