Registration Process for voting in UP elections
Process for new voters, correction of cards and NRIs outlined below.
For new voters:
1. Open website www.ceouttarpradesh.nic.in
2. This will open the National Voters Services Portal (www.nvsp.in)
3. Click on ‘Apply Online for Registration of New Voter’
4. This will open Form-6 on your screen – fill it up and click on ‘Submit’
5. The voter list will be published by 2nd January, 2017
6. The voter id cards will be distributed by the Block Level Officer from 25th January, 2017
7. If you fill the form online, you will get alerts for all the steps
For corrections:
1. Open website www.ceouttarpradesh.nic.in
2. This will open the National Voters Services Portal (www.nvsp.in)
3. Click on ‘Correction of Entries in Electoral Poll’
4. This will open Form-8 on your screen – fill it up and click on ‘Submit’
5. The voter list will be published by 2nd January, 2017
6. The voter id cards will be distributed by the Block Level Officer from 25th January, 2017
7. If you fill the form online, you will get alerts for all the steps.
For non-resident Indians:
1. Open website www.ceouttarpradesh.nic.in

4. This will open Form-6A on your screen – fill it up and click on ‘Submit’
5. The voter list will be published by 2nd January, 2017

The process of enrolling as a voter, or change of the name in list from one place to another is not at all citizen friendly, even after submitting the application on line for 6 months , nothing is known, no correction done, why it cannot be done as the applications are filed, this will ensure speedy resolution and also less errors more

Dear Sir, The pollution situation is pathetic in NCR. We at D116, Sector 41, Noida are just opposite DG Set of Millenium School. The genset runs most of the time throwing out black smoke. The exhaust pipes are also hardly 20 feet high. We and other redidents find difficult to breath . Hope you will beanle to taje some action in this regard. Dear collector(DM) Sahab, Same here. I have submitted form 8 two times for correction in my Name and also paid Rs.50/- (correction charges) in sector 19.I have receipt of this payment but I didn't get the corrected election Id card till date after passing more then 18 months. Second time I have given hard copies of all docs (Form 8, Copy of incorrect election Id card, copy of payment receipt and copy of address/id proof) to BLO of Sector 99 by hand but still waiting ... more

I had applied for amendment on voters card, date of birth, on voter card in Dec 2015. Haven't received corrected card. Officers from polling department visiting my sector 15A are unable to confirm status. Who can assist me? more
