Reliance 4G data card
I WAS USING RELIANCE DATA SERVICE FOR YEARS WITHOUT SINGLE MONTHS DEFAULT PAYMENT. i was availing Rs950 pm service with unlimited usage.
Company introduced 4G services and sent mails offering upto 70% discount.It was not made clear in the scores of sms messages or voluminous emails THAT DATA PACKAGE IS LIMITED TO 5GB FROM EXISTING UNLIMITED offer!
I realised this after using 4G dongle for a week and suddenly reliance stopped the services and restored only after making payment of Rs1300.
Then services were restored only to be stopped immediatly ,demanding Rs 6500/- to be paid!!!
I had sent 12 emails and countless calls to customer care with 5 call back request with sole intention of getting the services back.
Company didnot respond. Now they had sent a legal notice asking me to pay Rs3200/- and resume their 4G package
Entire episode was a horrendous experience to old existing customer like me.I donot want to continue nor I want to pay single paise for their unworthy services more

It is loyal customers that are targeted. So change providers every so often to get the best deals. Yes it means patience. more

Hi,The same happens with me but with idea , You can send a mail and refer its that this mail is legal notice and give the company 15 days time to resolve it .Reason (Consumer court want you to give them at-least 2 notice for 1 month 15 days +15 days is acceptable just mention that you are giving notice ) else when u go any court they will send 1 month notice. Also always ask for reference number Also mention all the incidence with tabular format so that any idiot can understand it easily attach all the proof with it like the mail stating 70% discount & ask them either solve the problem or help you to understand to get that 70% discount Please note : We live in India , democratic country , so lets say if the agreement says that in case money is not paid then we will kill u then in india this is not possible so do not worry about there terms and condition , check the term applied to operator via TRAI , they cant make the ruls so do not get affriad. They also call me from 1 delhi police station and said that ur address is xyz and there is 1 complaint , try to solve it or be ready to come on delhi and shared the number of advocate as per that police guy which is helping me . so this is little trick they do . do not ever call that number back. Just file a surrender application by mail and insist that you really intend to surrender it. Company shall come forward offer you plan as per your wishes and if does not just choose another. Its nothing but smart marketing in which we just get fooled. So be careful in future. more
