Reliance Jio

Reliance Jio offered 4G services starting Sept. 3, 2016 in a big bang way. I too joined the Q for a Jio SIM and could get on 21st Sept. The SIM was activated the same day but I could signal only on 24th evening. And to my surprise the data speed never crossed 0.3 Mbps and they were shouting like a Rocket. Even today the status is same. You can not make calls even to BSNL - lines are busy, try after some time and other service providers also. One can not reach their own help line nos. and even if you get connected then most of the replies are automated and thus one can not convey the complaint. The services are very poor in the area where I live. I have brought this to their notice as well. more

This is a breach of contract for which legal action can be taken against them. more
Dear Folks, Though Jio is providing free services does not entitle them to not respond to customers query / complaints. Shocking to read what Amit and Pankaj etc have to say. Jio should be providing the best services so as to grab the total market share of business instead of not responding to folks trying to get in touch with them. What is the difference between Airtel, Vodafone, Bsnl, Tata, Idea etc. Frankly, all of them are the same and government is fully aware of it and is hand in glove with them. Government is fully earning in the form of various taxes / fees. more
I think we should wait till their free period expires, then we can pass our judgments. more
Not advocating on behalf of Reliance, but please consider that you are getting their services for free, hence should not be complaining. As rightly pointed out by Mr. Amit Vijay, this is the trial period. Expect things to settle down in the next couple of months. I was using Reliance Jio in India and have a reasonably good experience as long as you are within the central city limits. At distant outskirts, signal strength starts to fall and sometimes fails. more
sir this is a testing period more
