Remedies for Hair Loss

My husband who is 34 has been steadily loosing hair over the last three years. We have tried homeopathy for 2 years which didn't work. Have heard from friends Hair Transplant is no good either and costs a good bit. Off late a few of his hair are turning white also.

Is there really a solution? The only thing we are trying are Green Tea, Egg White, More Beans in Diet. Is there anything else that can be done?

I also wonder if it has to do with Delhi as we moved from Bangalore about two and half years ago. more

My husband who had dropped the idea of transplant after reading bad reviews of Advanced Hair Studio is again back on it. Is there anyone in this community happy with their hair transplant in Delhi. If so, whose services did you use? more
Taking one or two walnuts per day (may be soaked in water for a couple of hours) can reduce hair fall besides other health benefits. more
That German Doctor who treated you should have put on his Cap and then treated you. Same thing happened in Army I remember. A Army Officer came to take advice about Baldness from the Medical Specialist who was Bald. He was told a patient has come for Advice on Baldness. The Doctor said give me my Cap and then call the patient.!! more
Some forty years ago I once got myself treated for hair loss in Germany by a doctor who himself was totally bald. Does that send a message? more
Sorry Aditi. I missed these points above: Rainwater Rain Water is also a good substitute to hard water when washing your hair. Place a large bucket outside during rainfalls, collecting as much of the liquid as possible. (Not a Very Practical Way) These days there are Good Water Filters of Kent and Eureka Company Available for Drinking Water. Try and take a Bucket Water from the RO for your Bathing. This Water does not have all the harmful Minerals. Lastly Practice meditation: Believe it or not, most of the times, the root cause for hair loss is stress and tension. Meditation can help in reducing that and restore hormonal balance Regards and God Bless. Uncle more
