I cannot profess to be a medical expert, dear Asmita, but I would gladly share with you memories of my growing years. Stomach ulcers, in my opinion, should be "handled" differently from tongue/mouth blisters. My Grannie used to say that those who get tongue/mouth blisters carry more than necessary heat in their body. You can even get these from eating too many chillies. I used to get these symptoms quite often. I get these even today, if I eat sharp green chillies..... Grannie would treat those symptoms with "cinnamon powder in honey and lukewarm water with a few drops of fresh lemon". Father preferred "soaked-in-water-overnight khus-khus, ground into paste, and drunk as solution-in-water. Today, I treat these blisters by drinking more and required quantity of plain, fresh water and thereby flush my system thoroughly..... Yoga-gurus suggest "Anuloma-Viloma" technique of pranayam. I follow that method too. Please, Asmita, do share with us suggestions which other members may provide.....thanks! Oh yes, stomach ulcers, to my layman's knowledge, could be result of "stress".....of any kind, of course.......or, due to weak nervous system.....but, as I said, this is what I've heard and learnt......A colleague of mine in Germany treated his ulcer-problem by switching over to green tea, fruit-tees and distancing himself from black tea, coffee and all kinds of liquor including beer, which, you may know, is so dear to the Germans...... more
Blisters on tongue/mouth can be symptom of larger problem - stomach ulcers. Please consult a good doctor immediately. more
