Removal of CBFC chairperson
Removal of censor board chairperson pahlaj nahlani is being cheered by many but I feel its negative development as a mother.
Bollywood movies had really deteriorated in terms of violence, use of words, sexual content and families couldn't watch most of them. He had atleast fixed this aspect.
For longest time producers and directors in bollywood have bribed censor board. We run the risk of not only bad content but also going back to old ways.
Hope the new prasoon joshi uses same approach as pahlaj nahlani. more

I think it is a good move, though belated.It would be even better if the Board had been scrapped-in today`s age of internet , it is totally irrelevent. Government has far more important things to do than sponsor a full fledged institution for moral policing.Besides, who are they to determine what I should or should not see? Prasoon has far better credentials than Palhaj Nahlani and hopefully has more sense and sensibility to stay clear of the path followed by his erstwhile predecessor. more

I really dont understand is anybody forcing anybody to watch a movie... its ur wish to watch or not watch. Moreover all movies have a certificate U , A, so on.. if ur really worried about the content that your kid watches just take a minute and look at the move certificate.. We speak about ourselves movies should be about people like us.. In society there are different types of people form slum dwellers to top notch industrialists and educationalists, scientists and every set of people have their behaviour, way of language etc.. this true in all countries when a movie is made its director freedom to choose the theme and the real life mannerisms of a character For e.g. If a movie is made about a criminal in Tihar jail do you expect him to speak sanskritised language and not use swear words.. If your not interested in seeing such types of movies with such character then don't waste your money by buying the ticket. But there are lot others who would like to see why that person is a criminal or how he became coz no child is born a criminal; and if movie is on TV that you can regulate if you dont your kids to watch that more

Our political system only allows pliable and spineless people to survive. The film industry will stoop to any level to make money and call it artistic freedom. It will stoop to any level including hiring artists from countries which are our sworn enemies. Such people sold our country to all the foreign invaders and rulers and will do so again if the price is right. more

Hi Vinod. I agree with you that to make money industry may stoop down. But the matter of fact is if the movie doesnot have something new, public may not enjoy. Film industry is categorised in entertainment. Our opinion may be different. But is it lawful? more
