Remove the need for medical certificate

Citizens 45 years and above (<60>) need to get a medical certificate to get vaccinated. It would be good if the need for certificate is removed, for anyone can get any certificate, especially medical certificate, by paying a bribe. And the honest ones have to go through the wait and pains of getting the certificate. Instead, eliminating the need for the certificate or a self certification should suffice. For, if there is any adverse effect, no doctor will take responsibility for the same. more

Yes, there is no need of a medical for getting vaccinated. For any vaccination, including for coronavirus, a certificate to the effect is given by the doctor who injects and that should be a sufficient vouch. Otherwise, for any injection like that of Penenciline injecting doctor first gives a test one and waits for reaction. Therefore, it would be a wise step to eliminate the need of a medical certificate. more
In Tamilnadu, apparently the certificate is not required. more
We got the shots today. My wife needed a certificate. However, our family doctor was too busy. So, we showed the prescription from the doctor which had the details of the condition (BP). This was fine with them. Only thing, she had to fill their standard medical certificate form and the doctor there signed it based in the prescription. The form is https://images.app.goo.gl/7fq1JoobRw87RYVF9 more
I think the purpose of the certificate is also to indicate any co-morbidity if any suffered by the individual. Let us not rubbish the requirement. more
Nowadays the rush is less and surely some more people can be accomodated, so those in range of 45 to 59 should be permitted, maybe in stages like 55 to 59 next week and so on. more
