Removing Seemai Karuvelam trees from lakes in TN

The major concern for water scarcity is absorbtion of water from water bodies such as lakes and ponds by the seemai karuvelam trees. This type of trees are originates from australia before several decades of years. They use it in marsh land for absorbing water from the land. But now it is growing vastly in lakes and ponds all over tamilnadu, thereby creating water scarcity. The Government has to take emergency action to remove all these trees from lakes & ponds. more

in tirusoolam, all over tue ground this type of trees are grown like a forest. This is a kind of another war against natural resources that we need to take immediate action. more
