Repeal of Farm laws-PM's announcement

The announcement regarding repeal of farm laws is very puzzling. After all these months of telling people that farm laws are for the benefit of the farmers and those who are blocking highways in Delhi are not farmers but middlemen and anti-nationals, are we now to understand that the agitators are indeed farmers who have a genuine grievance? And if so, why are other farming states with progressive farmers like Maharashtra and TN never raised problems with these laws (considering that these states are not even ruled by BJP)?

If illegal squatting by jobless persons paid to agitate is enough to reverse the laws, will CAA be the next to go? Do we deserve democracy at all? more

There is indeed no reason/cause for Procession/ rally to Parliament by SKM since PM Repealed Farm Laws. Their Strike/Dharna/ Protests all in fact are not tenable under Economic Analysis. And so are not Justified. It is all Politically motivated for the interest of Crop Contractors and Mediating Agencies. more
It was very clear right from the beginning that this protest/ agitation had nothing to do with farm laws. It is just an anti national / anti Modi initiative by vested interests. It will continue till Modi remains in power. At some stage force may have to be used to evict encroachment of public roads. more
The PM has taken a right decision as a statesman and Political Leader to let the agitators and those behind the screen funding them. Any way the real farmers have to bear the brunt and all these middleman and agents will learn what is this meant to be. Foreign funding to de stabilize the country will cry for loosing large amount of money in the name of this agitation. They cant achieve any thing. Mere Bharat Mahan more
