Has the BIS Report been accepted by the appropriate authority? Again, the point arises, is the Report convincing enough to implement. Or, could BIS impress the implementing authority to go ahead? Or, funds for the purpose not available? more

I just referred to the report. Thanks. So it is for 20 cities. Net take out - Almost all of the cities have non-conforming water quality, except for Mumbai and some exceptions like most areas of Bhubaneswar, Ranchi, Hyderabad. NOT AT ALL great... more

How often has BIS been publishing such reports? Is this for all cities? And why is BIS only restricting it to water? It should cover other consumption items too like the fruits and vegetables, milk, etc. Or is it FSSAI? Where are these reports? more
