Request to new Railway Chairman

Sir, unless and until all your customer function (safety, ticketing, services amenities, IRCTC booking, helpline, vigilance) interfacing officials won't come and interface with the public, they will never come to know what common citizen is facing on the ground.

You have a good back ground with air india. Please come forward and join us in this circle. Even if you conversed once a month with us, that will be nice. Rest your social media team can handle. And do make your customer facing functional officers connect with us.

This is only if you think passenger views matter and you plan to turn things around. more

Take suitable actions in respect of erring officials immediately more
mY ONLY REQUEST IS cHAIRMAN DOES NOT COLLECT SECUALR hAFFTTAS AND COMMISSION AND ALSO THROW OUT ALL MEMBERS OF THE BOARD WHO ARE CORRUPT, HEAD OF RPF AND CHOEF ENGINEERS WHO NEVER THINK BEYOND HAFFTTA AND ROOT CAUSE OF ALL PROBLEMS IS HAFFTTA. LET US HOPE SOMETHING GOOD . more
I totally agree with the views expressed by Anushka Singh . They need to be proactive instead of pointing fingers to skirt their responsibilities . There should be accountability fixed to the respective officers and their report card evaluated on a monthly basis atleast more
To start with, railways should be treated as a commercial service provider and not a Govt. body which is the root cause of all ills this monopolized PSU had been facing. No service provider should be in Public Sector as it cannot give better and cost effective service due to secure job of employees, corruption and political interference. If IR is privatized today, there will be sea change in its working within 6 months. All suggestions to improve working and reduce cost has failed due to unionized work culture and corruption. If one group of employees is taken to task, they will proceed on indefinite strike and the whole Public Sector organization will come to halt putting millions of passengers at great inconvenience and financial hardship. more
Do not worry Madam, in spite of your very nice message, nothing will happen. Mr. Lohani has now publicly stated that he values his employees more than he values his Customers. With condition of his Employees being what it is, he will spend the rest of his term trying to motivate/ set right his Employee morale with no time for his Customers. more
