RESERVATIONS IN JOBS AND EDUCATION IN INDIA – A POLITICAL TOOL RATHER THAN A SOCIAL REMEDY.
More than 68 year have gone since the Independence but certain Immediate short term corrective measure to maintain equity in the society enshrined by the then ‘Constitutional and Political Pundits’ have not been reviewed and are not corrected to suit the present day requirements of Socio-economic realities in India. Now most of the top players in the Political spectrum see this RESERVATIONS IN JOBS AND EDUCATION IN INDIA – A POLITICAL TOOL RATHER THAN A SOCIAL REMEDY.
It is high time to set up an Expert Constitutional Committee to review and regulate the Reservation system prevailing in India to suit the present day Socio-economic realities keeping in view the fundamental principles of our Constitution such as Equity, Justice and Fraternity. more

Honourable supreme court decades back itself directed the then Central Government to work out CREAMY LAYER to properly address the issue of the Economically Backward Classes of all the places . There was a Commission which also had decades back surveyed and report being submitted to the then Central Government and , still pending . Eminent Advocates like Sri Nani Phalkiwala had shared quoting the references of comments of Dr. Sri B. R. Ambedkar also. Hence , it is better to move the Supreme Court once again by any please . more

Reservations are unjust, have made casteism part of constitution/law of the land and also against constitutional rights of equality irrespective of birth. We should not be required to mention caste or religion in any government/public forms or procedures. No government policy or procedure should be based on caste or religion. All poor citizens irrespective of caste, creed, religion or ethnicity should be financially helped to get education to any level based on their merit, however all selections/promotions must be solely based on merit and talent. Over the years quota policy has become a tool in the hands of crooked politicians to garner votes based on caste rather than good governance and development. There should be constitutional amendment to disallow any policy based on caste or religion for now as well as for any time in future. Actually this should be first step towards any kind of political reform in our country. more

Instead of claims and counter claims for Reservations for each community/caste, it is high time that all Citizens unitedly call for measures for gradual retard of all sorts of Reservations as the State cannot prosper well with this costly silence or inaction w.r.t continuation of Reservations. more

THE RULERS FOR THEIR POLITICAL INTERESTS AND THIRST & HUNGER FOR THEIR POWER /RULE CONTINUENCY FROM THE VERY BEGINNING OPTED THE ATTITUDE OF CERTAIN CONCESSIONS , RELAXATIONS , SUBSIDIES AND EVEN HIKING THE INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS THIRST IN THE SOCIETY ; only for the support from such benefited Classes for bagging the Vote Bank and hence ultimately the whole concept of the Constitution went wrong towards CORRUPTION ; ABNORMAL & ILLEGITIMATE WEALTH CONCENTRATION ; CORRUPTED & ILL-PROFITED BUSINESSING which are only in and for the support those political Rulers befitted them ; . This unconstitutional concept and practice of the Political Parties ultimately ruined the whole concept of Democracy QUESTIONING EVERYBODY . more
