Reservations
The airlines and bus reservations provide the seating arrangements so that one can book the seat required of his choice. It is understood that Senior Citizens due to their inability and age factor, you could reserve seats for such so that the system can recognise them by their age. Hence the Indian Railways must look into allowing the passenger to book his/her choice of seat. more

The TTE is an important person who should be respected and he should know how to take respect. When TTE's do not know how to respect themselves, they are selling the Railways. I have seen with my own eyes when TTE take bribes on the train and allow passengers to sleep in the gangways. Strictures and Warnings should be alarmed to them and all Railway workers for that matter. more

What is meant by Reservation in Indian Railways. Does it mean that waitlisted tickets are reserved tickets. Once the chart is prepared, there should not be any waitlisted passenger travelling on the trains. If this is restored and the procedures applied, then the Reservation coaches will be free from waitedlisted and ticketless travellers. Hence I hope this could be discussed at length and applied to all travellers in the country. We have many tourists travelling on our trains, and we send a very bad picture when passengers are sleeping on the gangway in the trains, avoiding people going to the toilets. Yours efforts will help India to improve Railways. more
