RESTAURANTS & THE NEW FOOD DELIVERY SERVICES:

The attached clipping mentions about the incident in South Chennai .As I was going through the article a feeling of Aversion and disgust went through .

The modern App for Food Delivery system no doubt has its benefits and boons , for the hard working late home coming workers , avoiding to venture out into the traffic again. There are a few glitches too as we witness in all services .

The responsibility doesn’t rest with the authorities at all , as it is a localized event and not at all possible to keep a tab on thousands in a state . At the same time it is also unfortunate such an incident has happened . Only hope it is not an intentional action from a crazy lunatic , but an accident .

THE PACKER CAN BE EASILY TRACED FROM THE BILLS GENERATED AT THE RESTAURANT AND TRUTH BROUGHT OUT. SO THAT STRICTER CHECKS ARE IN FORCE AT THE PACKING AND COOKING ARENA more

Generally in service sector appointments are without any proper system. Basic rule is less pay more people. Police advice the people to take proper verification before appointing servants , watchman etc. But these service sectors do not follow that . The work force also frequently change jobs. both the service people and the service providers do not have control on each other. everything is arranged temporary basis without having responsibility of each other.. more
Employs are appointed without proper en-query and training. Regular training and check required. more
With the increase in demand for the food delivery, there has been deterioration in the service and slowly the good service provider will remain and other will perish. It is for the service provider to maintain the quality. more
There should be consumer compensation, awarded asap more
It is not a slip. Carelessness as the packing is most probably carried out on floors in unhygienic condition. This is basically because, the entire operation is carried by merchandise with no inspection clause by dedicated authority and/or no CCTV footage in the entire area where food processed, packed . more
