Retailer Labeling Standards

Can the BIS make the standards for retailer labeling mandatory please. The labels should be placed such that they dont hide important product information from consumer. See attached. more

BIS can frame rule/guidelines for the industry which fall under its domain. They do not have the mandate to regulate every trade. The local Food/Health authorities, if they opt to work, can check and get such mal-practices removed from any retailer/Distributor's outlet. more
