Under GST mostly supplier of goods or service is supposed to collect GST from the recipient and deposit to Government. Under reverse charge the recipient of service or goods is supposed to deposit GST to the government. There are some services like Goods Transport Agency, Payment to director, payment to insurance agent are covered under Reverse charge mechanism. GST under reverse charge will be payable even the the recipient is not liable to pay GST. more
Reverse charge means buyer needs to pay GSt/Tax on purchases/buying from URD/composition dealer/supplier and it is not applicable as of now and postponed till date/until GST dept gives a notification !! more
