Reviews on Website

Recently I read about the review process on website of Zomato which someone claimed was totally corrupted. I feel same is the case with many other websites who take money from suppliers. If a user is providing a genuine negative rating the website owner in collusion with the vendor/business delete it from the site. Even large ecommerce sites are now doing this.

Can Ministry of Consumer Affairs please look into this so genuine user reviews are prevented from beingdeleted. more

Government machinery is to waste and time and energy. They do not bother for so many things under the department. Only where they have interest, they poke their nose there. more
Ministry of consumer Affairs is a dead ministry. Only God can revive. more
"Content Writing" is a BIG Business these days! & E-commerce Companies spend a fortune to Polish & spruce-up the REVIEWS-section against every listed Product item of their Web portal. Negative-Reviews end up as being Hijacked & Disappeared in a blink of an eye! So called--"Verified Buyers", "Trustworthy Buyer" etc. all offshoot from the likes of a talented pool of "Content-Writers" only! Department of Consumer-Affairs is itself facing a Biggest Crisis of present times, as they are already Short-staffed & the ones entrusted with Complaint Redressal are least efficient to say the least! :-) Top-Honchos of Govt. Affairs have confirmed this on Record! We are all on our own..! "Bhagwan Bharose" in a true sense! :-) more
The Govt should ideally ask local circle to provide all bad reviews and the biggest offenders should be taken to task. more
Yes please. Please avoid buying from Dhamaalshop.com, Whaaky.com, Dealsothon etc. These are big time cheats and never fulfill their promises. more
