Revised Home Isolation Guideines of GOI

Attached new home isolation guidelines and their summary.

7 day quarantine and isolation period is less as many are still testing positive after 10 days. What is the Govt thinking.

Also bigger issue is thousands of people are doing antigen test and even if positive are going about their day to day. Its like a parallel system where they dont have to go through RT-PCR and Govt hospitals.

How should that be accounted for? What if many are in metro buses and public places? They can infect a lot of people. Govt wont even know. Scary. more

If Rapid Antigen Test is +ve and the individual doesn't opt for RT-PCR for confirmation, the concerned testing centre must ask him to quarantine and return back after the quarantine period for retest. There must be Aadhar based checking system for status of individual by anyone (more so law enforcing agencies such as Health authorities including hospital) and random checks must be done for detecting delinquent. If needed, such individuals may be barred from public health facilities. But all this may not work unless Citizen behave responsibly as enunciated by Sri Vadakkuppattu Ramanathan. more
So since when we started following the stupid flip flop CDC rules? They are doing it for politics only. You don't have to listen to them. This change is not scientific at all. more
Sri Khanna, please remember, in a democracy, we are the government. While most of your concerns are valid, we have to do our part. Let us take both doses of the vaccine, take booster shot when appropriate and most importantly wear two masks when in public sphere. An N-95 and over that a surgical mask. Good quality N-95 is available for Rs 25 a piece and a surgical mask for Rs 5. Discard the surgical mask after single use. N-95 can be used more times. Let us all go out only when necessary. As members of LC, let us spread this awareness in our micro community. Most importantly, let us not panic nor be totally careless. more
Vishal Khanna, this is the biggest "Public Health problem ", every where in the world. 2.Each individual, community, company and Government departments have to tell about the problem. more
