Rheumatoid Arthritis medicine.....
Dear Members,
My wife is suffering from RA (Rheumatoid Arthritis). Please let me know the best Dr./Clinic/Medicine for this. We have done the RA Factor test and found it 85. Currently we are taking homeopathy medicine from our nearby doctor but would like to know the best doctor who is good in RA decease.

I have also read many books on Homeopathy and most of these recommend use of one medicine at a time and not combination, but in actual practice as in Batra's clinic and many other private registered and degree holder homeopaths do follow the principles of combining one or more medicines in India at least. However, for multiple problems where one single medicine selected based on overall symptoms and life of individual may not provide relief immediately like in headaches and bleeding piles etc., doctors do provide another medicine which has to be taken at some interval from the main constitutional medicine and I have seen this working many times, as long as the medicines given are not inimical to each other. In addition, I have seen in many countries including US and UK, where mixtures of homeopathic medicines are available in the market and approved by the drug controllers in those countries for some specific diseases and even on prolonged use of such medicines, I have not come across any case of harmful or side effects. Although, I am not a homeopathic doctor, but have studied a lot about it and have also been using homeopathic medicines often for various chronic problems and I got benefit from them instead of getting benefit from alleopathic medicines, of course as prescribed by practicing doctors and not taking of my own. There may not be any recorded cases for such treatment in the literature on homeopathy, but I have seen it being practiced by many doctors in India. However, after reading your views, I am curious to know what side effects or harmful effects could occur because of use of combination of 2 or more medicines for treatment. You may please also see Dr Reckweg book on this and many R's available in the market, manufactured in Germany - the birth place of Homepathy. more

Dear Mr Gupta, greetings! Homoeopathic medicines are proved 1 medicine at a time for past many many years, all these symptoms are recorded as per protocols mentioned and recorded, but these combination may not have been proved the way it should be and there has been no follow ups on the clinical trials if any. Homoeopathy is based on certain guiding principles which clearly contraindicates the use of polypharmacy or combinations. All homoeopathic colleges have these subjects to be mandatory however I fail to understand so frequent use of multiple medicines, polypharmacy and combination drugs. Might be these doctors are taught in different way than I was but I follow the guiding principles. Word of caution - most severe and dangerous side effects are from homoeopathy, if not practiced properly.... - so please don't try at home.... has to be administered under strict supervision. Mr Gupta - I wish I could follow the short cuts and perception of cure to treat my patients however as per what I read and learnt - the physician must treat the patients in most gentle, permanent and harmless ways to completely eradicate the cause of the disease to help them cure. more

thanks Punit ji for your feed back on Dr Batra's clinic. I have been using them for the past one year and they provide medicines in globules in plastic strips. I am just curious to know if there is a combination of two or more homeopathic medicines given by a homeopathic doctor, what is the harm, is it not standard practice by most of the Homeopathic doctors in India? Please advise me since I have seen most of the doctors giving combination of homeo medicines and many combos are available in the market not only in India but also abroad. more

I donot recommend Dr Batra clinic as that has become more commercial than service oriented as well as their frequent use of polymedicines and combinations is not homoeopathic practice. I suggest go to qualified doctor who is practicing homoeopathy based on principles of science otherwise you may have more side effects and more severe disease conditions than RA even....rgds/Dr Punit Kamrah 9654100066 more
