Solar power should be allowed (Not allowed in West Bengal). more
There is no privation predicted in the Draft Electricity Consumer Rights Rules. The Govt of India power Ministry have published the Electricity Consumers rights, responsibility and duties of the DISCOM. with compensation to the Electricity consumers for submitting the electricity bills beyond 60 days etc. TheSeveral provisions are enclosed in the draft. Better read the Draft and submit the valuable suggestion before the 30th September so that appropriate step can be taken for the benefit of electricity consumers of India more
Notifications are drafted by experts under the guidance of the Bureaucrats. Once the rules are implemented, the lapses can be noticed for taking corrective measures. more
Privatisation is not a solution . Nexus between corporate houses & "majority" political party became evident during lockdown period. I am a victim. Mixed economy is a golden mean & automatically checks our political system. more
To start with, All power generation and distrution companies should be privatized to reduce cost and corruption. Power Consumer complaint redressal Authority (PCCRA)should be appointed in every State to solve the problems within a fixed time frame. First of all, the complaint should go to the CMD/CEO of the Discom and if no response received within 15 days, the complaint should be forwarded to the PCCRA. more
Sorry. i beg to differ.
Once it is privatised, monthly bills will go through the roof, as in Mumbai, my uncle's power bill for his flat at Andheri SEEPZ area is Rs. 17,000 per month .. Nothing short of daylight robbery .. more
