Rise in robo pesky calls

Someone I believe in the circle said the TRAI was acting on LocalCircles survey below and 10 lakh pesky callers have been terminated.

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/pesky-calls-survey-2024

I must let u know that manual peskh calls have reduced but now we are getting automated calls from Mumbai High Court, Customs Department and from TRAI asking us to do something in a hurry.

So seems machines are now calling from these discontinued or new numbers.

Request LC manager to get it fixed. more

We are not attending most of such calls and block the numbers but every time the calls are coming from different numbers. more
Serious flaw in BSNL billing operation. We use double sim mini SAMSUNG etc for easy use in pockets. They charge Validity as gp1& gp2 though only one sim is used. We get validity expiry warnings for unused sim slot. Very serious flaw in their billing system. That too They can not interact with internet as any normal mobile and charge internet usage charges. understood if the sim is used in a normal mobile for internet usage like start etc. There should be a meaning analysis if a sim slot is in use or not, whether internet usage possible for a mini mobile. more
truly said we have started blocking the nos which is the least we can do and be sensible not to fall into this trap.We cannot depend upon trai since that is a sleeping organisation and by the time they wake up the damage would have been done. They make a mess of every project like the channels subscription issue etc more
My view is that the fraudsters if are based in India, then the money must be getting transferred to bank account in India... the crime branch should also question the bank officials who either help them in opening new account with fake documents OR banks should update their software in such a way that if any account which had zero or limited balance suddenly start getting more funds should alert the entire banking system. Without the knowledge of bank officials, frauds can not take place so smoothly. If any fraud takes place, bankers & police officials should also be held responsible. Do police not have the details of the fraudsters? If not then it's a intelligence failure. That's the job of police officials. more
Really annoying. more
