Rising Heath Insurance Premiums

Sorry friends If I am the cause if repetition of the subject of rising health insurance premiums in this circle.

I was traveling in between and just went through the LocalCircles report

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/health-insurance-premium-increase

Dont the administration people see that 38% people had premiums increasing by over 50% as a problem.

Is the IRDA sleeping or are they hands in gloves with insurance companies.

I mean they have built Delta costs for 2022 and that hasnt been the case like report says. Then why not lower the premium. more

If we start a separate account and save the supposed premium money, we will have enough money to get treatment . Need to be started while young. That savings should not not be used for other purposes. more
Yes. The Premiums are rising Every Year. Govt/Insurers must think of Senior Citizens, and Charge Judiciously. And give benefits where ever possible. Say Do no Charge GST for Senior Citizens. more
I agree. The premiums for Health Insurance are far too high. These need to be reduced by 50%, at least for senior citizens, who have limited income opportunities, specially those who do not get the benefit of Pensions. more
i had a health insurance from bajaj insurance, in 2019 premium increased from 4200 to 48000 rs , but in 2021 they hike 100% they asked me to pay 98000 / i had wrote to irda but not action ,there was no claim from date i took the insurance more
The very fact that a report has been generated(the attachment) is indicative that someone in the government has been looking at it. It takes lot of time in the government for any action more
