rising petrol and diesel prices

in 2012-13,when the crude prices sky-rocketed,the then congress govt.raised the petrol price by Re1 and diesel by 0.50.late mr arun jaitley, then leader of opposition in rajya sabha made a hue and cry and also the late ms sushma swaraj in the lok sabha.petrol and diesel prices have been steadily increasing for ever so many months..also,from 2017,this government has been collecting Rs15 on petrol and Rs10 on diesel extra over and above normal costings..in one of the trade association meetings held in chennai, the late mr arun jaitley remarked that if the govt. reduces Re1 in petrol pricing the govt. loses Rs10000cr..so the govt. needs money and therefore they cannot reduce..now why arent people protesting against this ridiculous price of petrol and diesel..people just want to accept it just like they accept anything that this government does as a policy measure..it is so inhuman especially in current times of covid.. more

Political Thirst on Tax income for PDS etc Subsidies COSTING DIESEL, PETROL AND INCREASING PRICES OF ESSENTIALS TOO while Education and Earning Facilities are kept inaccessible. Vigilance and investigating Wings MUST STOP MISUSE, MISAPPROPRIATION OF Govt Grants, Subsidies, Funds and Finances . Judiciary need to realise and Act at Public Interest. more
The additional charged money is used for poor people : 1. Especially with so many lawyers, businessmen, and other professionals going away Income Tax free. 2. Average business man paying one-third of the average middle class employee, for the same annual income. Not the fault of the businessman / middle class either.. Also, when businessman can easily hide income, not middle class, the scales are highly favouring businessman / women .. 3. Better to charge at least here. 4. Instead of pressuring the middle class for more tax . 5. The money has to come from somewhere. more
There is a limit to rise in prices of Fuel products. Since it has reached to alarming level, the time has come for both Centre and State Governments to reduce the taxes and bring it to a comfortable level for common Citizens. more
Both the Central & State Governments are part of this virtual extortion of common man.If Central Govt. is getting Rs.17/- per litre on account of Excise Duty, the State Governments collect about Rs.33/- as VAT. There is need to reduce these taxes by 30% and bring petroleum products under GST. To set off this reduction in revenue, the Governments should curtail cost of governance. Many Ex MLAs/MPs are getting pensions of Rs.4-5 lacs with scores of perks. Many elected members are claiming medical expenses in millions every years. The pensions should be capped at Rs.50,000/- p.m. max with no perks. All MLAs/MPs should be alloted 3 bed room flats and not Bunglows and large posse of security which has become a status symbol at the cost of hapless tax payers. more
Public Tpt. Must be boosted reducing Individual Vehicles more
The present govt only thinking on developing the nation by increasing the fuel prices which directly impact on the lower middle class and poor citizens of this country great nation rather promoting more exports and other means to get more foreign currency reserves....this is the clear example of exploitation of aam aadmi . the slogan of Ache din seems to reversed to bure din for common citizens of India more
