Rising Prices of Fuel - Excise Duty Cut Needed

As Mr. Madhu Balan is highlighting and as the post below says that people need Govt to cut excise duty but no action so far. I am attaching this breakdown with Delhi data that I am paying. Petrol is 86 and Diesel is 76. The base price is 30 for both.

I dont how we can rate the budget so high with no action on this front. more

Patrol and Liqueur and main source of revenue for both Centre and State Governments. Then there are a lot of subsidies, Govt needs money for them. In India liabilities are more then assets. Certain category of people, although rich still wants subsidies specially rich Agriculturists. more

Political Thirst on Tax income for PDS etc Subsidies COSTING DIESEL, PETROL AND INCREASING PRICES OF ESSENTIALS TOO while Education and Earning Facilities are kept inaccessible. Not helpful The cost for extracting petrol from the crude, by the IOC / BPCL / HP processing cost is missing. They are not selling crude in the petrol pumps. The additional charged money is used for poor people : 1. Especially with so many lawyers, businessmen, and other professionals going away Income Tax free. 2. Average business man paying one-third of the average middle class employee, for the same annual income. Not the fault of the businessman / middle class either.. Also, when businessman can easily hide income, not middle class, the scales are highly favouring businessman / women .. 3. Better to charge at least here. 4. Instead of pressuring the middle class for more tax . 5. The money has to come from somewhere. more

When you want one thing FREE You have to pay it in another way. The Country need money For Development , Defense, Arm Purchase , & 7 -th Pay commission implementation etc. So it is simple way. another If You keep Prices cheaper the Crude Oil Import Increases which is again burden on economy, Pollution etc. So the peoples who only in real need , should use the car / bike etc. more
