Rising Prices of Medicines

has anyone else noticed the steadily increasing prices of medicines?

My mothers eyedrops which used to cost Rs. 36 till 6 months ago, now cost 55. Vertin which used to cost 85 till couple of years ago became 120 in 2020 and this week i got it for 132.
Crocin also more expensive.

Why are medicines becoming expensive like this. Is the Govt aware ?

Can a survey be done on rising prices of medicines. Will everyone in the circle kindly share their experiences? more

A minimum of 10% to 20% rise in the price of medicines are observed with a gap of 6 month. Medicine are being used for emergencies and it is a necessity, hence no one raises their voice. There should be some restrictions, as the price rise on medicines are being shared by the pharmaceutical companies with doctors and medicine retailers as a tips for sale. more
