Risk of reinfection higher with Omicron by 16 times

The risk of reinfection during the Omicron wave is 16-fold higher than during the Delta wave, further evidence for this strain's marked immune evasion. Attached paper from today. more

Anyone and everyone is writing articles, papers, giving Gyan on covid. And this gets forwarded multiple times, thanks to free and easy communication. It is mostly gut feel or is picked up bits and pieces from here and there. And our honorable govts and "experts" continue giving the same guidelines. Until now there is no attempt by scientists to find the CURRENT source (root cause) of infections. It is vaccinations, masks and tests, which is geared towards businesses. What ONE needs to do to keep OTHERS from infection is etched in everyone's memory. It is only a case of putting this into practice. more

You are right M.A.Khan.No doubt it has the ability to spread & Multiply fast - UT WHEN? WHEN THE OFT REPEATED PROTOCOLS AND BEHAVIOURS ARE NOT FOLLOWED. We have to remember, Omicron infects people who dontt follow the protocols, * NO1 * NO2 * NO 3 and most importantly the ones who expose themselves into big crowds, where social distancing isnt possible. IT IS THOSE WHO EXPOSE THEMSELVES GET INFECTED AND SYMPTOM FREE YET INFECT THE OLD AND THE CO MORBIDS AT HOME. MEDICAL AUTHORITIES ARE ADVISING STRONGLY FOR HOME QUARANTINE AND TREATMENT. more
Local circle Management team - Please desist members from creating new posts like this. We should behave better and sensibly in a democratic set up. It should not be misused. I am disgusted with too many unwarranted topics like this especially on covid. more
It is no more then a flue, already proven across the world. more
