RO service standards
Livpure Kent Eureka Forbes all are just pathetic at RO service. Have first hand experience as I and my 2 neighbours in Noida have all these at our home.
I think the problem is with the system. The BIS does it have a mandatory service standard for RO service like response time resolution time etc. more

The AMC by all these companies are increasing dispropotionately. A day may come, people will prefer to purchase a new one rather than to go for AMC. more

I agree. I am also facing similar problem in NOIDA. Another point is that company is forcing us to change membrane every year even though the out put TDS is as low as 50 to 100 ppm. This is also low as per health standards. more

Output TDS from RO system shall be 250-350.
Lower TDS water will leach out several minerals from the body.
It will result in catastrophe in the long run.

I have been using AQUAGUARD classic for more than 25years with periodical cleaning of candles. But over the period of management change, the service started deteriorating, as quality of service staff become obsolete. When the unit was buggered up by poor quality service hands, I was offered DR. MAGNA by company, claiming, its service requirement with regards to filter cleaning etc. are much better than classic. To my utter dismay, since commissioning of Dr. MAGANA to date invariably with a gap of 10 - 15 days, the filters need to be serviced. I have been undergoing tremendous mental agony as, a wrong machine was tied to my neck. To add insult to the injury, all service hands of company are ill equipped and without basic technical knowledge Many issues viz: presence of residues in filtered water, frequently faced issue is longervdyration to filter even one liter water, inferior quality spare parts are some of the common issues faced by me. My suggestion is that as many of the residents get municipal filtered non heard water rather than having water filtered,boiled water is much safer. more

None in the western world uses RO water. It is for the other world to generate trillion dollars economy for themselves. RO completely removes all minerals from water. And then a few minerals are added to keep TDS between 250 to 350. Like artificial baby milk (which is even today found inferior to mothers milk), the minerals addition in RO water ( before it is stored in the inbuilt reservoir)is based on current knowledge which is incomplete. And if the replacement of minerals cartridge is not done in time, TDS of the dispensed RO water will be low and unfit for drinking. I strongly recommend avoiding RO. I use filtered water with a minor improvement. Add a little alum in the water being filtered. more

THE Ro companies only fooled us for decades and enriched themselves. I realised now how much we waste our water in ro purification. Best way to get clean water is boiling the water and removing impurities using filter paper and checking TDS using a meter. Not everyone needs RO water. Plus these companies have utterly shitty services more
