Road and drainge system

Yes Sir, repeating and magnifying problems time and again is no resolve. also understood the failures of previous govt. But, it is almost more than three years that a new govt . is at center, similarly three rainy season has passed by, could the govt. not take corrective steps and improve the drainage, sewerage, and all, so that traffic do not come to a stand halt, when during rain, the numbers of vehicular traffic is reduced, no rekshew, less autos, no foot walkers, less cars. even then the congestion which is difficult to digest and understand.
After three years of good governance also, can this be justified??? more

Mr. Monjish Nandi, I would like to correct you, do not mind, that the present Government has completed only two year 2-3 months back. Secondly the maintenance of city road, sewerage and water do not come with in the perview of the Central Government. It is the sole responsibility of the State Government or the local Corporation or the PWD. Secondly, there is no magnifying of the the problem, if you have commented on my post. If you personally visit the area, you will find that the description was on the lower side, what to say of magnifying. You are right to the extent that the Delhi Government even after more than one and a half year of rule, has not been able to do any perceptible change for good. Year after year the things, unfortunately are getting from bad to worse so far as uncontrolled digging of roads and left unattended, sewerage and water logging, sanitation and cleaniness are concerned- question is not which political Party is responsible. Let the Political Parties play the blame game. Our job is, if required, do bring the things to the notice of the fellow citizens and the Authorities concerned even at the cost of repetition after repetition. Authorities are always in the slumber, have to wake them up. This is not the only platform I am using for taking up these issues. more
Everyone complains of flooding and water logging. How many of you all ever bother not to use polythene bags and ensure that nothing is ever thrown out of the car windows by you or your family members? Let us take the responsibility for our own actions first. It is our duty to stop littering roads and common areas. Once we do this then we can blame government and so on. We must realise that all jobs are not for a Government to do. WE ALSO HAVE SOME JOBS TO DO.... Let us do these. more
