ROAD SENSE FOR ALL
There is dire need of regulating pedestrians on almost all over the city roads. We can see people crossing the roads at their will & from any where with utter disregard to the traffic lights.....green or red....
Even police persons present there to regulate the traffic do not seem to bother about it. As per my view, if the pedestrian movement is regulated at all the crossings, most of the jams can be contained & also accidents can be avoided to a great extent... more

Though I agree to the comments. But what I see is that there are no proper measures taken by the MC or the Govt for the pedestrians. Issues 1. You will hardly see any Zebra crossing in Indirapuram and even in a major part of Ghaziabad. 2. There are many people violating the traffic rules . a. Driving on the wrong side. b. Not following the speed limits. 3. Like arleady said the footpaths are encroached upon. 4. Vehicles haphazardly parked near the market areas tend to slow down the traffic and hence add to the frustation of the drivers. I hope we need the local organization to keep a check on these and there is something to be done by all of us. more

in Indrapuram people enjoy driving wrong side especially bikers. When pedestrian tries to cross the road , driver increase the speed of his car. Pedestrians walk on the road as footpaths have been encroached. more

I see a lot of traffic moving in the wrong direction even in presence of traffic policemen. Near the crossing leading to gate no. 1 of Shipra Riviera in Indirapuram, a lot of kabab stalls have mushroomed. People park their cars near these stalls on the road. This is happening right under the nose of police personnel deployed there. This contributes to traffic jams in the evening during peak hours. more

I will partially agree with your comment and botheration, however I would like to bring this to your notice that only a few of roads in Indirapuram or Main roads but almost all roads are connecting roads of societies or colonies. While motorist tend to drive in full speed even in colony roads there is also tendency to keep walking by pedestrians on main roads. I do not know how can condition be improved. more
