Robo and Pesky Calls

The robo and pesky calls situation is fast crossing all limits

https://www.localcircles.com/a/press/page/unwanted-phone-calls-survey

The LC survey has done a super job of establishing baselines.

If TRAI cannot act despite this I dont have any words. TRAI should be shut.

Senior citizens dont check numbers and they pick up. Some times they have really bad mannered people on other end. The other day a girl abused by father after he asked her to never call again. He and our senior citizens deserve better. more

Since nowadays Abusive Calls are the norm, only way is to write an email to the Police Commissioner with snapshot of call record. This will help us register the complain and give the police proof to act. I am doing so with the hope that life improves and abusive callers are booked. more
Pesky call is a nuisance. It is good that my mobile has a system of informing the receiver that that it's a pesky call even then still it does disturb the receiver when you are busy in other activities. more
Blaming others is always SO EASY. Let u understand why there are so many pesky calls and so on? Because the communication by mobile services in India is the cheapest in the world. Do you know of any country where the cost of using mobile phones is at least no less than 3-4 times the cost in India? That is the main reason why Mobile calls are mis-used. more
TRAI has been sleeping all the time TV channel pricing itself was a mess created by TRAI in the guise of helping people but in essence helped the operators and not the end consumer for whom the charges increased inspite of limited channels whereas earlier they were getting many channels for a lesser amount.God only knows where is the money going and the operators have become rich courtesy TRAI .I do not understand why action is not being taken on the group for doing what they have done. more
